India’s business environment has never been more dynamic.
A new generation of entrepreneurs is building startups, D2C brands, professional-services firms and technology businesses, while traditional businesses are adopting digital tools, modern marketing and new management practices to remain competitive.
Yet one challenge remains common across almost every category of business: growth creates complexity.
The strategies that work when a company has five employees may stop working when it reaches fifty. A founder who personally handled every customer may struggle when the customer base reaches thousands. Sales that once came through referrals may need to evolve into a structured acquisition engine.
This is where a business coach or entrepreneurial mentor can make a meaningful difference.
A good coach doesn’t build the business for the entrepreneur. Instead, they provide an external perspective, challenge assumptions, identify bottlenecks and help create a framework for better decisions and execution.
India has developed a growing ecosystem of business coaches serving different categories of entrepreneurs—from first-time founders and small-business owners to established MSMEs and senior business leaders.
Below is our curated list of 10 business coaches, mentors and entrepreneurial leaders in India to know in 2026.
Important: This is an editorial selection, not an official industry ranking. The ranking considers business experience, entrepreneurial influence, coaching or mentoring expertise, public presence and relevance to today’s Indian business environment.
1. Dr. Vivek Bindra
Business Coach | Entrepreneur | Leadership Trainer
Dr. Vivek Bindra is arguably one of the most visible personalities in India’s business-coaching ecosystem.
His work through Bada Business has created a large entrepreneurial education platform covering business strategy, leadership, sales, marketing, finance, management and entrepreneurship.
What makes Bindra particularly notable is his ability to communicate business concepts to a mass audience.
For many aspiring entrepreneurs and small-business owners, management concepts can seem complicated or inaccessible. Bindra’s energetic and highly engaging communication style attempts to simplify these concepts and turn them into actionable lessons.
His programs and content address a broad range of entrepreneurial issues, from increasing sales and improving leadership to understanding business fundamentals and managing growth.
His influence is especially significant among India’s first-generation entrepreneurs and small-business community.
While experienced entrepreneurs may eventually need highly customised consulting or coaching, large-scale business education can provide an important foundation for people still developing their entrepreneurial capabilities.
Why he stands out: Massive reach, accessible business education and strong focus on entrepreneurship and leadership.
Best suited for: Aspiring entrepreneurs, MSMEs, business professionals and founders looking for structured business education.
2. Rajiv Talreja
MSME Business Coach | Business Growth Strategist
Rajiv Talreja has developed a distinct position by focusing heavily on India’s MSME ecosystem.
And that focus matters.
India’s MSMEs operate differently from venture-backed startups. Many are family businesses, manufacturing companies, distributors, service providers or traditional enterprises that have grown organically over many years.
The biggest challenge for these businesses is often not starting.
It is scaling without the founder becoming the bottleneck.
Talreja’s coaching philosophy addresses this issue through business systems, sales, marketing, team building, leadership and profitability.
His programs are designed to help business owners move away from a model where the founder is involved in every decision towards a more structured organisation.
This is an especially important transition for entrepreneurs who have built successful businesses but find themselves working longer hours as the company gets bigger.
Talreja’s own platform positions his work around helping MSMEs create profitable and scalable businesses, with structured coaching and implementation programs.
Why he stands out: Strong MSME orientation and emphasis on systems, profitability and reducing founder dependency.
Best suited for: Established MSMEs, family businesses and entrepreneurs looking to build systems and scale beyond the founder.
3. Sameer Kapoor
Business Growth Coach | Marketing Strategist | Strategic Mentor
Sameer Kapoor brings a different perspective to India’s business-coaching landscape, combining business strategy, marketing, digital transformation and practical execution.
With more than 25 years of experience in business strategy, marketing and growth consulting, Kapoor has worked with startups, MSMEs and established businesses.
His mentoring philosophy focuses on solving the business problems that founders actually face.
How do you generate more qualified leads?
How do you improve sales conversion?
How do you create a marketing system instead of relying on occasional campaigns?
How do you use CRM and automation?
How do you create SOPs so employees can execute without asking the founder about everything?
How do you reduce founder dependency?
These are the types of questions that form an important part of Kapoor’s approach.
Through Growth Gurukul, he works with entrepreneurs on business strategy, growth marketing, fundraising, team building, operations and processes. His published profile states that he has mentored more than 200 startups, MSMEs and enterprises across India.
A particularly interesting part of Kapoor’s work is his focus on businesses that have already survived the startup phase but need to become more structured.
Many Indian businesses don’t have a product problem.
They have a systems problem.
They have customers but no predictable acquisition engine. They have employees but no documented processes. They have salespeople but no defined sales funnel. They have marketing activity but no measurement framework.
Kapoor’s approach attempts to address these gaps by combining strategic thinking with implementation.
He also works with financial-services businesses, including mutual fund distributors, financial advisors and wealth managers, helping them build digital marketing, lead-generation, sales and business-process systems.
Why he stands out: A practical combination of business strategy, marketing, digital growth, automation and process building.
Best suited for: Startup founders, MSMEs and established entrepreneurs who want practical help with growth, sales, marketing and scalable business systems.
4. Harsh Mariwala
Entrepreneur | Founder | Investor | Mentor
Harsh Mariwala is not a conventional business coach—and that is precisely why his place on this list is interesting.
The founder of Marico brings decades of experience in building brands, managing organisations and navigating India’s competitive consumer market.
His entrepreneurial journey provides valuable lessons around innovation, branding, consumer understanding, leadership and organisational development.
There is an important difference between building a business and building an enduring company.
A business can achieve short-term revenue growth through aggressive selling. An enduring company needs strong brands, capable leadership, innovation and a culture that can survive changing markets.
Mariwala’s experience illustrates this transition.
His involvement with India’s entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem has also allowed him to contribute as an investor and mentor.
For entrepreneurs building consumer businesses, his journey provides a powerful case study in how Indian companies can develop brands and scale over decades.
Why he stands out: First-hand experience of building and scaling a major Indian consumer business.
Best suited for: Consumer-business founders, entrepreneurs and leaders interested in branding, innovation and long-term growth.
5. Rahul Jain
Business Coach | Entrepreneurial Mentor
Rahul Jain is another emerging name in India’s business coaching and mentoring ecosystem.
His work centres around helping entrepreneurs develop greater clarity around business growth, strategy and execution.
For many founders, the biggest challenge isn’t a lack of ideas.
It is having too many ideas.
New products. New markets. New advertising channels. New partnerships. New hiring plans.
Without a clear strategic framework, entrepreneurs can spread their resources too thin.
Effective coaching can help founders identify which opportunities are worth pursuing and which distractions should be eliminated.
Jain’s mentoring approach is relevant to entrepreneurs who want to improve decision-making, establish priorities and build a clearer path towards business growth.
Why he stands out: Focus on entrepreneurial clarity, growth and execution.
Best suited for: Entrepreneurs and business owners looking for structured guidance around strategy, execution and growth.
6. Saurabh Kaushik
Business & Life Strategist
Saurabh Kaushik is a prominent name in India’s premium business-coaching ecosystem.
His work is focused largely on entrepreneurs, business owners and senior executives looking for personalised guidance.
Kaushik’s approach goes beyond conventional business tactics.
His coaching incorporates strategic thinking, leadership, personal performance, decision-making and long-term vision.
This becomes increasingly important as entrepreneurs move from running a small business to leading a larger organisation.
The founder who once personally managed every detail has to learn to delegate. The salesperson has to become a leader. The operator has to become a strategist.
That transformation often requires a different mindset.
Kaushik’s personalised coaching approach is particularly relevant to entrepreneurs who are already successful but want to think bigger and operate at a higher level.
Why he stands out: High-touch, personalised business and leadership coaching.
Best suited for: Established entrepreneurs, CEOs and senior business leaders.
7. Dr. Ujjwal Patni
Leadership Coach | Motivational Speaker | Business Trainer
Dr. Ujjwal Patni has built a strong presence across India’s leadership, motivational-speaking and business-training landscape.
His work combines entrepreneurship with personal effectiveness.
This is important because business success isn’t determined by strategy alone.
Founders need to communicate. They need to negotiate. They need to hire. They need to resolve conflicts. They need to motivate teams and make decisions under pressure.
Patni’s content and training focus on several of these dimensions.
His extensive digital presence has also helped make leadership and personal-development content accessible to entrepreneurs and professionals across India.
Why he stands out: Strong combination of leadership, communication and personal effectiveness.
Best suited for: Entrepreneurs, professionals and leaders seeking leadership and personal-performance development.
8. Ankur Warikoo
Entrepreneur | Mentor | Content Creator
Ankur Warikoo represents the changing face of entrepreneurial education in India.
His entrepreneurial background combined with his enormous digital presence has allowed him to reach a generation of young Indians interested in startups, careers and independent entrepreneurship.
His content covers entrepreneurship, productivity, personal finance, leadership and professional growth.
One of his biggest strengths is simplicity.
Complex ideas are often converted into easily understandable frameworks that young professionals can consume through digital platforms.
While this isn’t the same as traditional one-to-one business coaching, entrepreneurial education can play an important role in helping people develop the mindset and knowledge required before launching a business.
Why he stands out: Strong digital influence and accessibility for the younger entrepreneurial generation.
Best suited for: Young founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, students and professionals considering entrepreneurship.
9. Shaji Kuriakose
Business Growth Coach | Strategy Mentor
Shaji Kuriakose brings substantial business experience to the coaching environment.
His focus includes business strategy, sales, marketing, business development, team building and operational growth.
His expertise is particularly relevant for companies that have already achieved initial success but are finding it difficult to sustain their growth.
At this stage, entrepreneurs often need to stop asking:
“How can I work harder?”
and start asking:
“How can I build a business that works better?”
That requires systems, delegation, accountability and repeatable processes.
Kuriakose’s experience across different business functions makes him relevant to entrepreneurs looking for a broader approach to business growth.
Why he stands out: Broad business-growth perspective covering strategy, sales, marketing and teams.
Best suited for: Established SMEs and entrepreneurs facing growth or operational challenges.
10. Radhika Gupta
Business Leader | Entrepreneur | Leadership Voice
Radhika Gupta brings the perspective of a successful business leader to India’s entrepreneurial conversation.
Her experience in the financial-services sector has given her first-hand exposure to leadership, organisational growth and building teams in a highly competitive industry.
Her public discussions around leadership, resilience, workplace culture and entrepreneurship have made her an influential voice among India’s business community.
One of the biggest challenges facing growing companies is maintaining a strong culture while the organisation becomes larger and more complex.
The founder cannot personally shape every employee’s experience.
Leadership systems and organisational culture therefore become essential.
Gupta’s experiences offer valuable lessons around these areas.
Why she stands out: Strong perspective on leadership, culture, resilience and organisational development.
Best suited for: Founders, CEOs and business leaders interested in leadership and organisational culture.
What Is the Role of a Business Coach?
A business coach should ideally do more than provide advice.
The most effective coaching relationships can help entrepreneurs:
- Identify the biggest business bottlenecks
- Create clearer strategic priorities
- Improve sales and marketing
- Build stronger teams
- Develop systems and processes
- Improve decision-making
- Establish accountability
- Reduce founder dependency
- Create measurable growth plans
However, entrepreneurs should remember that coaching is not a substitute for execution.
A coach can provide frameworks, questions, experience and accountability.
The entrepreneur still has to implement.
How to Choose the Right Business Coach in India
The “best” coach depends heavily on the entrepreneur.
Someone starting their first business may need education and foundational mentoring.
An established MSME may need help with systems and delegation.
A rapidly growing company may need leadership and organisational development.
A digital-first business may require expertise in marketing, funnels, CRM and automation.
Therefore, entrepreneurs should consider three things before selecting a coach.
Experience
Does the coach understand your industry or business stage?
Methodology
Does the coaching process lead to actual implementation?
Fit
Can the coach understand your way of thinking and challenge you constructively?
The right coach should ideally become a thinking partner—not simply another person giving instructions.
Conclusion: India’s Business Coaching Landscape Is Evolving
The rise of business coaching in India reflects a broader change in the country’s entrepreneurial economy.
Entrepreneurs are increasingly moving away from informal, founder-centric businesses towards organisations built around systems, technology, professional management and predictable growth.
That transition requires new skills.
The ten names on this list represent different aspects of that journey.
Dr. Vivek Bindra brings entrepreneurial education to a massive audience. Rajiv Talreja has built a strong focus around MSMEs, systems and founder independence. Sameer Kapoor combines business strategy, marketing, digital transformation and practical execution. Harsh Mariwala brings decades of experience in building major consumer businesses.
Rahul Jain focuses on entrepreneurial growth and execution, while Saurabh Kaushik represents personalised strategic and leadership coaching. Dr. Ujjwal Patni brings personal effectiveness and leadership into the conversation, while Ankur Warikoo has made entrepreneurial education accessible to a younger digital audience.
Shaji Kuriakose brings a broad business-growth perspective, while Radhika Gupta offers valuable lessons around leadership, culture and organisational development.
But entrepreneurs should remember one fundamental principle:
The most famous coach isn’t necessarily the right coach for your business.
The right choice depends on your business stage, objectives, industry, challenges and personality.
Ultimately, successful business coaching should produce something tangible.
Not just motivation.
Not just ideas.
But clearer strategy, stronger systems, better execution, stronger teams and measurable business progress.
That is what turns coaching from an expense into an investment in the entrepreneur and the business.
